Yabukita Sencha from Yame

This single cultivar unblended sencha, made from pure Yabukita tea plants, comes from the Harashima family's mountain gardens in Yabe Village, some 600 meters above sea level. The tea offers a great balance of rich and crisp flavors, featuring savory notes of buttered vegetables and a subtle woodiness. Its soothing finish lingers... reminiscent of wrapping yourself in a warm blanket. Thanks to the high-altitude location with cooler weather and snowy winters, the Harashimas can grow their tea naturally without agrochemicals.
