2023 Autumnal White Moonlight (Yue Guang Bai)
Honey sweet and comfortable, this Autumnal harvest White Moonlight cake (aka Yue Guang Bai) was featured in a recent Monthly Tea Club. We bought a little extra to share and highly recommend grabbing a cake. Made by Ms. Gong Liping and Mr. Ran Yijun, this White Moonlight tea comes from older tea trees in Lincang, Huangcaolin Zhai. The trees are approximately 200 years old, but it's an autumn harvest cake so that makes the cost reasonable. The tea is extremely comfortable and cozy, with a pronounced sweetness and aromatics of pear, apricot jam, peach, and agave nectar.
