Organic Yutaka Midori Sencha
This Yutaka Midori single cultivar organic sencha is a real gem of a tea - not too pricey, not too finicky, and very easy to enjoy. It's a light steamed Japanese green tea with a with a rich and full flavor and a pleasingly sweet and crisp finish.
This tea comes from Yakushima Island, about 20% of which has been designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site. About 90% of Yakushima is covered in forest - it's gorgeous. It feels like you can taste the clean forest air in this tea.
