    This single-origin, single-cultivar sencha from the Harashima family offers a mellow, sweet, rich, and refreshing profile. It exhibits no excessive astringency or bitterness. The tea presents subtle floral and fruity notes, making it very approachable with a vibrant green color and balanced umami.  Okumidori is green tea cultivar primarily used in matcha and gyokuro because of its deep green color and inherent umami.

    This selection undergoes slightly more steaming than a typical light-steamed sencha, yet doesn't reach the level of fukamushi style. This process enhances the tea's natural sweetness.
