Harukasumi Matcha from Marukyu Koyamaen is their spring only seasonal blend, available only for about one month. It's light and clean with a refreshing, breezy taste and fantastically smooth texture. It suitable for both usucha and koicha.
Marukyu Koyamaen, founded in 1704, is an award-winning producer of Uji matcha, recognized at the Annual National Tea Competition and with the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Award.
A typical serving uses 2 grams for usucha (thin matcha) and 4 grams for koicha (thick matcha).
