Beni-ibara Japanese Black Tea from Sashima
This Beni-ibara Japanese black tea is really something quite special. The liquor is rich, honeyed, and reminiscent of sweet berries and rose. This selection is more full-bodied than most of the other black teas from Japan that we carry, with a darker, richer liquor. The Beni-ibara cultivar itself is highly unusual as it comes only from one tea maker, Mr. Kimura. This is an exceptional tea and one of the many reasons we love black teas from Japan.
