Ancient Pottery Stoneware Mug from Japan

The Ancient Pottery mug from CHIPS is made of durable Mino Province stoneware.  It has a gorgeous soft speckled appearance made by mixing iron granules with glaze.  Each mug holds 11.8 ounces (350 ml).  The mugs have matching teapots here. 

These mugs are made individually and so there may be slight variations among them.  Because the mug is stoneware, it may develop a distinctive patina with use from the natural chemical reactions that occur with over time.
