2024 White2Tea Theophilus Ripe Puerh Mini
You may have noticed that we carry quite a few puerh teas from White2Tea. One of the reasons we love Paul's teas so much is because he's extremely creative. The 2024 Theophilus Ripe is a case in point. This puerh was fermented under Paul's supervision (rather than just buying an already fermented lot). It was then sent to Fujian province to be charcoal roasted by veteran Wuyi Rock Oolong producers in 2023. It was then sent back to Yunnan to be pressed and released in 2024. All of that takes significant investment of many types of resources and expertise.
Theophilus is quite intense and will likely benefit from a few years more age and rest, but it's already showing super sweet notes with loads of wood and very thick mouthfeel. Highly recommended to grab a few.
