Heuge is a line of tableware by Chips Japan coming from the Mino region's thousand year history of making traditional pottery. This Kizeto teacup is simple, clean, and elegant with a warm yellow-hued glaze. Each teacup is made by hand, so no two are exactly the same.
Volume: 200 ml. Made in Japan
-Since each item is made by hand, there may be some variations in size and shape.
-Since we use a glaze that easily drips and becomes uneven, there is no single vessel with the same expression. Please enjoy the scenery of the glaze on the vessel.
-Since coarse soil is used, there may be roughness or small holes on the surface or edges of the vessel.
-The surface of the glaze may have black spots or the base material may be reddish, but this is due to the iron powder in the kiln and the iron contained in the soil. There is no problem in use.
-There are some that have fine cracks (penetration) on the surface at the time of purchase, and some that have intrusion as you use it, but there is no problem in using it.
Penetration occurs because the shrinkage rate of soil and glaze is different when the vessel cools and shrinks for about a month after leaving the kiln. When the intrusion comes in, there is a high, small noise. The sound gradually disappears, but the intrusion continues. Please enjoy the piercing sound like an iron koto when you start using it.
・ Before use, soak in water and wash lightly.
・ After use, clean it with a soft sponge and kitchen detergent as soon as possible and dry it well before storing it.
・ Due to the characteristics of the product, it has high water absorption, so leaving it for a long time or leaving it with food in it may cause stains, stains, discoloration, mold, odor, etc.
・ Be careful of sudden temperature changes when using a microwave oven or dishwasher. It may cause cracks.
