Iuzmi Japanese Black Tea from Ashikita
From famed tea maker Toshihiro Kajihara comes this exceptional black tea made from the Izumi cultivar. The tea steeps quite fruity, with mouthwatering notes of berries, peaches, and citrus. It has a medium tannic quality, with a lovely full body and intriguing richness.
Mr. Kajihara is a third-generation tea farmer in the Tsuge Village, Ashikita area, Kumamoto Prefecture. He does not use pesticides or fungicides and makes minimal use of fertilizer.
