Black Phoenix
Black Phoenix black tea shows incredible aromas of honey and caramelized sweet potato with an impressively nectar-like texture and a long lasting finish. It's made from a varietal of tea plant that is almost always used to make Phoenix Oolong. In this case, the tea was made in sort of mash up style of both. It was withered in the sun and in the shade - highly unusual for a black tea - and then allowed to further oxidize to a much darker range than that of a Phoenix oolong.
